How can you stay visible when you are super busy? I get it. I have a toddler running around and I’m still running 3 companies. I truly get it. It is hard to stay visible when you are busy. Today I want to give you tips on the top 5 strategies that I use (and those inside the BecomingCEO Lounge use) to stay visible. I’m going to break it all the way down for you so that you don’t have to worry about being too busy to stay visible.
Sometimes I post every single day and sometimes I go for months without posting. My companies don’t stop growing just because I’ve stopped posting on social media. It’s because I created a really solid strategy for visibility.
Netflix and Chill Content
This is your evergreen content that hooks people and gets them to binge and stay tuned for your content whenever you want. I love this strategy because think about some of your favorite shows. Just because there isn’t a new episode out, you don’t all of a sudden hate the show or no longer follow the show, right? No, you may rewatch the show or check for updates. That’s what happens when you really priories and create a “Netflix and chill” type of content. This type of content helps you establish trust really quickly with your audience.
Take your “Netflix and chill” content and repurpose it. For instance, for this episode I took a social media post and put it on the podcast. From this podcast, it is going to the blog. Repurpose your content. It is a great way to stay visible when you don’t have the time and capacity to come up with new ideas. You can take the hard work that you have already done and repurpose it again.
Collaborations are really great if you are busy because you can make it as simple or as complex as you want. You can be interviewed on podcasts, or do an IG live with someone, or collaborate posts on IG. This is a great way to get in front of a new audience but also stay visible when you are short on time.
When you are really busy, it feels like you can’t keep up with the trending content or you can’t do trending content, but I will say usually trending content is really simple. Sometimes we make it more complicated than it needs to be. I will say I don’t spend a bunch of time here and I don’t recommend that you do either but jumping on a trend will help you stay visible and give you a little bit of momentum so that if you need to take a break, you can.
Client retention and word of mouth marketing
This is my favorite way to stay visible. It is such a powerful way to build your business. I really prioritize client retention and word of mouth marketing in my businesses. I’ve said over and over again, my social media agency doesn’t even have a social media page. How am I getting clients then? I am focusing on retaining my current clients long-term and word of mouth marketing. By giving that quality experience, I’m able to retain clients and have them refer me.
So, there you go! These are the top 5 strategies that I use and that my CEO’s inside of the BecomingCEO Lounge use. These are all sustainable strategies to stay visible when you are busy.
